Cookies and storage
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t use third-party analytics. That’s why there’s no cookie banner. The site only keeps what it needs in your browser’s storage to work.
What we store in your browser
| Name | Type | What it’s for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-…-auth-token | Local storage | Keeps you signed in. Set by our sign-in provider, Supabase. | Until you sign out |
sbs_near | Local storage | Remembers the town and distance you picked, so results stay local. | Until you clear it |
sbs_next | Local storage | Takes you back to the page you were on after you sign in. | Removed after use |
sbs_job_draft | Local storage | Saves a job you’re writing so you don’t lose it. | Until you post or clear it |
sbs_toast | Session storage | Shows a short message (such as “Listing published”) on the next page. | Until you close the tab |
sbs_install | Local storage | Remembers if you closed the “Install the app” suggestion. | Until you clear it |
sbs_vid | Local storage | A random ID (it doesn’t identify you) so each listing view is counted once a day for the seller. Not shared with anyone. You can switch this off below. | Until you clear it |
sbs-shell-… | Cache storage (app) | Saves the site’s design files and an offline page so it loads faster and works as an app. Never stores your account data or messages. | Replaced when the site updates |
Signing in, remembering your choices and the offline cache are strictly necessary for the features you ask for, so they don’t need consent. The view counter is a simple statistic for sellers, and you can turn it off.

Clearing storage
You can clear everything at any time in your browser settings (“Clear site data” or “Clear browsing data”). Signing out removes the sign-in token. See our Privacy policy for more about how we use data.
